## Grant Status: MVP Ventures Round 3

**What:** $20-75K grant (NSW government). Closes April 5.
**Where we are:** 6/6 application documents are DONE and ready to submit.
**What's blocking us:** Two things Michael needs to provide this week.

## Blocker 1 — Letters of Intent (LOIs)

**What:** 2-3 signed letters from hostels confirming they intend to partner with RateRight.
**Why:** Grant body wants proof real businesses want to use the platform.

**Our options (pick one):**
- (a) Michael calls his personal contacts — tradies, construction mates, anyone who knows a hostel manager. Friends signing for friends. Susan's already on cold calls with 6 Sydney hostels (low probability).
- (b) Submit with 1 LOI if we get one — less ideal but possible.
- (c) Ask grant body for extension — weak case, probably a no.

**My recommendation:** Call 5-10 people you know this week. Personal network is the only realistic path in 6 days.

## Blocker 2 — ADI Bank Statement

**What:** A statement from a traditional bank (Commonwealth, Westpac, ANZ, NAB) — NOT AirWallex.
**Why:** AirWallex is an e-wallet, not an ADI. Grant body won't accept it.

**Question:** Does Michael have a regular bank account at one of the big four? If yes, need a recent statement (last 3 months) showing transactions.

1. **Tell me:** Does he have an ADI bank account (CBA/Westpac/ANZ/NAB)?
2. **Tell me:** Does he have any hostel contacts or people-connected-to-hostels he could call this week?
3. **Decision:** Which LOI track does he want to run?

Everything else is ready. Just need Michael's input and action.
