Every answer in Michael's voice. --- ## For Workers ### Getting Started **1. What is RateRight?** RateRight connects construction workers directly with contractors who need them. No agency in the middle. No one taking a cut of your pay. You sign up, we match you to jobs, you keep every dollar you earn. **2. Is it really free for workers?** 100% free. No sign-up fee. No commission. No percentage taken from your pay. Ever. Contractors pay a flat $50 when they hire you — you pay nothing. **3. How do I sign up?** Go to rateright.com.au. Tap "I'm looking for work." Answer 5 questions about your trade, experience, location, availability, and certifications. Or send a voice note — the AI builds your profile from that. Takes about 2 minutes. **4. Do I need a White Card?** Yes. Every worker on an Australian construction site needs a valid White Card (General Construction Induction Card). You'll upload a photo during signup — our system reads and verifies the details. **5. I'm on a working holiday visa. Can I use RateRight?** Absolutely. If you have the right to work in Australia and a valid White Card, you're in. Doesn't matter if you're from Ireland, England, France, or anywhere else. We've built this for people like you. **6. What trades does RateRight cover?** Steelfixing, formwork, concreting, labouring, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, bricklaying, tiling, plastering, painting, landscaping — all major construction trades. **7. I only speak basic English. Can I still use it?** Yes. Your profile captures your languages. Many contractors need workers regardless of English level — your skills and reliability matter more than your vocabulary. ### Finding Work **8. How quickly will I get matched to a job?** Depends on your trade, location, and availability. Many workers get their first match within 24–48 hours of their profile going live. Steelfixers and labourers in Sydney — you'll get matches fast. **9. How does matching work?** Our AI looks at your trade, experience, distance from the job site, ratings, certifications, and availability. It ranks you against other available workers and puts you in front of contractors who need what you've got. **10. Can I choose where I work?** Yes. You set your preferred areas in your profile. We only match you to jobs within a reasonable distance. If you're in Bondi and a job's in Penrith, we won't waste your time unless you've said you'll travel. **11. Can I set my own availability?** Yes. Full-time, casual, weekends — whatever works for you. Update it anytime. We only match you when you're actually available. ### On the Job **12. How do I get paid?** You and the contractor sort that out directly — same as any construction job. Most contractors pay weekly or fortnightly. RateRight doesn't handle your pay. We connect you; the rest is between you and the contractor. **13. What's the pay rate?** You see the rate before you accept. No guessing. The contractor sets the rate when they post the job, and you see it upfront. If it's not right, don't take it. **14. What if I accept a job and can't make it?** Let the contractor know as early as possible. Things happen — but no-shows without warning hurt your rating and can get you removed from the platform. Communicate. That's all anyone asks. **15. What if there's a problem on site?** If it's a safety issue — stop work. That's the law. If it's a dispute with the contractor about pay or conditions, try to resolve it directly first. If that doesn't work, email support@rateright.com.au and we'll help sort it out. **16. How do ratings work?** After a job, both you and the contractor rate each other. Good ratings make you more visible to other contractors. If you get feedback like "improve timekeeping" — that's not a mark against you, that's a chance to get better. Every job builds your reputation. --- ## For Contractors ### Getting Started **17. How does RateRight work for contractors?** Post a job. Our AI matches you with verified, available workers near your site. You pick who you want. You hire them. $50. That's it. **18. What does the $50 cover?** The connection. One flat fee per hire. No subscriptions, no monthly costs, no percentage of the worker's wage. Whether they stay a day or 30 years — still $50. Compare that to agencies charging 20–40% of the worker's hourly rate, ongoing. **19. When do I pay the $50?** When you confirm the hire. Not when you browse. Not when you post a job. Not when you look at profiles. Only when you actually hire someone. **20. How do I sign up as a contractor?** Go to rateright.com.au. Tap "I'm hiring." Enter your company name or ABN. The AI researches your company — ABN lookup, Google, the lot — and pre-fills your profile. You review it, confirm, and you're posting jobs in under 2 minutes. ### Hiring **21. How fast can I find workers?** Most contractors find suitable workers within hours. Many jobs filled same day. Depends on the trade and location — labourers in Sydney CBD, you'll have options by lunchtime. Specialist trades in regional areas take longer. **22. Are workers verified?** Yes. White Cards checked. Identity verified. Certifications confirmed. Every worker on the platform has been through our verification process. **23. What if the worker doesn't show up?** Contact us at support@rateright.com.au. We take reliability seriously — workers who no-show without warning get removed. We'll help you find a replacement quickly. **24. What if I hire someone and it doesn't work out?** That happens. Rate the worker honestly — that feedback helps the next contractor and helps the worker improve. If it's a serious issue (safety, misrepresentation), email support@rateright.com.au. **25. Can I hire the same worker again?** Yes. And you should — if they're good, hiring them again through the platform builds both your profiles. No additional fee beyond the original $50 for that connection. Once they're hired, that relationship is yours. --- ## General / Billing **26. Is RateRight a labour hire company?** No. We're a marketplace. We connect contractors directly with workers. You hire them, you manage them, you pay them. We just made the finding-each-other part not cost a fortune. **27. How is payment handled between contractor and worker?** Directly between you. RateRight doesn't process wages. Your normal payroll, your normal terms. We stay out of it. **28. What areas does RateRight cover?** Launching in Sydney first. Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide coming soon. **29.
