## Scope (1–3 sentences)

Subcontract F+R+P (Formwork, Reinforcement, Pour) package for the new **Munmorah Bridge over Hammond Canal** at Station Road, Colongra (old Munmorah Power Station site). 34m overall length, 32.4m span between bearings, 8.2m carriageway, 4 × Type T4 Super-T girders on 900 dia bored piles into Unit 4 rock. AS5100 (2017) bridge code. **LFCS prices substructure (abutments, wingwalls), superstructure (deck), approach slabs, and barrier installation labour. Pile installation, girder/bearing/parapet supply, and Super-T cranage are NOT in LFCS scope.**

## Key risks identified at quote stage

1. **Drawings are NOT FOR CONSTRUCTION.** Stamped "Issue for Information" — preliminary sketch. Northrop notes scaled CAD will be produced post-award. Scope creep risk on drawing rev. → Mitigation: lock pre-agreed VO rates + assumption clause in submission.
2. **5+ month gap** between drawing/BOQ issue (Aug-Dec 2025) and tender close (May 2026). Material costs may have moved. → Mitigation: rate validity clause (e.g. "rates valid 30 days from submission, subject to review on award").
3. **Existing services in work zone**: live electrical to control room, water main against canal wall, 1200DN dirty water line, monitor well, electrical pits. Strike-and-stop risk. → Mitigation: exclude service strike costs unless head contractor warrants location data.

8. **Power station site access**. Old Munmorah PS — likely security-cleared, induction required. Unknown working hours, vehicle access. → Mitigation: confirm Tuesday + price induction time/risk.
9. **Hammond Canal water flow**. Saltwater? Tidal? Cofferdam needed for abutment work? → Mitigation: confirm with site visit + price accordingly.
