## §4 Flag list — Rocky-attention items

### F1 — Concrete grade conflict (HIGH PRIORITY)

Drawings rev D S100/S200 concrete quality table → **32 MPa** for pad footings + strip footings + slab on ground + DEB1.

Pavement spec P171342-SP-001-0 Table 1 → **35 MPa compressive + 4.5 MPa flexural** for pavement element "Base" (the 125mm pathway slab is a pavement-classified element).

Conflict: which strength applies to 125mm pathway slab?
- If structural drawing precedence → 32 MPa
- If pavement spec precedence (typical for pavement-classified elements) → 35 MPa flexural-rated

**Pricing impact:** flexural-rated 35 MPa is ~$15–$20/m³ premium over 32 MPa structural mix. At 15 m³ pathway concrete, the supply premium is ~$300 (HC pays — not LFCS). LFCS placing labour unaffected by grade. **No first-pass labour adjustment required**, but RFI mandatory for HC concrete-supply line item.

**Recommended action:** RFI to designer for clarification before submission. Default assumption in first-pass: pavement spec prevails for 125mm pathway → 35 MPa; structural drawing prevails for 150mm internal slab + footings + DEB1 → 32 MPa. Built into envelope as 32 MPa locked but pathway flagged.

### F2 — Pavement spec template carry-over

Pavement spec P171342-SP-001-0 §1 Introduction explicitly references "the joint reinforced concrete pavement base for the pedestrian footpaths at **St Ives Showgrounds proposed carpark development**." This is a different project. Designer Stellen Consulting reused the spec template without updating §1 to Strathfield Parks Airey Park.

**Confidence in spec applicability:** material clauses (§4 materials, §6 formwork, §8 reo, §9 placing/finishing, §10 curing, §11 joints, §13 adverse weather, §14 testing, §15 tolerances) are generic concrete-pavement clauses applicable to any in-situ concrete pavement. §1 introduction is template fluff. Substance applies to this job.

**Recommended action:** RFI to designer to confirm spec applies to 2627 as intended. Note in submission cover letter that spec §1 references different project but bid relies on substantive clauses. No pricing adjustment.

### F3 — Architectural setout RFI (BLOCKER for final submission)

Drawings note 9 (S100 + S200) explicitly says "REFER TO ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS FOR ALL SETOUT, LEVELS, FALLS ETC." Architectural plans NOT supplied in inbound set. Quantity take-off in BoQ-from-drawings is **provisional ±20–30%** until architectural setout received.

**Pricing impact:** any total derived from this take-off is provisional. First-pass is a sanity-check magnitude estimate; final submission requires architectural plan or formal HC-supplied BoQ for confirmed quantities. Submission must carry standard exclusion + assumption that quantities are subject to confirmation.

**Recommended action:** Before commercial submission, escalate via Rocky to HC: "Architectural setout drawings + dimensioned plan required to confirm quantities. Quoted quantities ±20–30% subject to receipt." Add as Detailed Exclusion 53 in revision-2 exclusions list.

### F4 — Piering note

S100 + S200 carry note: "PIERING MAY BE REQUIRED. ENGINEER TO CONFIRM DURING CONSTRUCTION."

Piering is NOT LFCS scope (specialist sub per Standard Exclusion 30). If piering confirmed, scope expansion via variation. First-pass excludes; variation rate basis = same loaded basis × 1.3225.

### F5 — Existing-slab interface productivity

Tooth slab + tooth stair into existing slab/brick wall + drill+epoxy dowels + local wall removal coordination = ~15–20% productivity reduction vs greenfield. Built into BoQ rates. Add as Assumption A10 in revision-2 exclusions list.

### F6 — DEB1 deep-edge-beam productivity

1200mm max deep × 300mm thick × 13 lin m DEB1 with multi-layer reo cage is deeper than typical edge beam. ~30% productivity reduction built into formwork + reo + place rate.

### F7 — Saw-cut window 24-hour productivity risk

S200 SJ detail + spec §11.3.6 require sawn control joints within 24 hrs of pour. Late-afternoon pour + early sunset + summer humidity = potential after-hours saw-cut. Cancellation premium per Rate Card V1.7. Build into rate; flag for posture grill Q-D2.

### F8 — Materials contingency uplift (Rocky review at sanity-check)

Envelope locks materials at 1.15 margin × 1.15 contingency = 1.3225 (uplifted from default 1.15 × 1.10 = 1.265). Orchestrator applied uplift to mirror the labour-side pre-IFC contingency. **Flagged for Rocky review at sanity-check** — Rocky may revert materials to standard 1.265 if pre-IFC posture only justifies labour uplift.

### F9 — Curing duration

Exclusions skeleton A7 says 14-day cure. Pavement spec §10.1.1 says minimum 7 days. Reduce A7 to 7-day cure in revision-2 exclusions list. Cure labour cost reflects 7-day cycle, not 14.

### F10 — Cylinder testing + flexural beam testing

Pavement spec §14 requires cylinder testing 2 pairs per sublot + flexural beam test per sublot. NATA lab cost via HC per envelope item 28. LFCS makes cylinders + delivers + makes beams. Build into placing rate (~10 min per sublot × ~3 sublots = 30 min total — negligible).

### F11 — Density coring (75–100mm Ø) within 2 days

Pavement spec §14.2.5 requires NATA-take cores from finished slab to verify density. Destructive test; core repair cost via HC, not LFCS. Add as Detailed Exclusion 54 in revision-2 exclusions list.

## §5 Cross-references between envelope + drawings

| Envelope claim | Drawing/spec confirmation | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Concrete grade locked 32 MPa all elements | S100 + S200 concrete quality table → 32 MPa for pad/strip/slab on ground + DEB1 | **Confirmed for structural elements; 125mm pathway 35 MPa per pavement spec — flag F1** |
| Drawings rev D pre-IFC | S000–S300 all stamped "ISSUED FOR REVIEW" rev D — confirmed pre-IFC | Confirmed |
| Site exposure inland | Postcode 2140 + no salt/marine context in drawings | Confirmed |
| LAFHA OUT | Sydney crew + Sydney metro site | Confirmed |
| 4 LFCS items only | Drawings + spec scope match: formwork + reo place + concrete place+finish + curing | Confirmed |
| HC supplies concrete + reo + plant | Drawings + spec assume contractor-supplied materials but envelope-supply-split is contractual norm | Confirmed (subject to RFQ confirmation) |
