3. **Concrete** — place + finish only (concrete supplied by HC)
4. **Curing** — supply + place polythene + hessian per pavement spec §10

Scope NOT in LFCS bid (for clarity, mirrored from exclusions skeleton):
- Earthworks, sub-base, blinding placement
- Sandstone block retaining wall (S51)
- Brick walls + 190mm block walls (above + below)

## Quantity table — provisional

**Critical caveat:** dimensioned architectural plan NOT supplied. All m/m²/m³ values below derived from visual scaling of S50/S100/S200 against grid spacing assumed at 3m typical. Subject to ±20–30% revision once architectural setout received.

| Joint sealant + backing rod | ~95 | lin m | S200 detail | sealant material by HC; LFCS installs sealer flush per spec §11.6.2 |

## Joint productivity note

Joint forming + cutting is labour-intensive vs lineal-metre rate-card. Saw cut MUST be within 24 hrs of pour per S200 SJ detail + spec §11.3.6 — places NIGHT or weekend saw-cut risk if pour late afternoon. Cancellation premium per Rate Card V1.7 may apply if HC recall LFCS off-hours. Flag for posture grill Q-D2.

## Drop edge beam DEB1 productivity flag

DEB1 at 1200mm max deep × 300mm thick + 13 lin m run + N12-300 horiz at base + 4F12 TM at top + N12-200 horiz reinforcement is a **deeper-than-standard slab edge** — productivity reduced vs typical 300–400 deep edge beam:
- Forms: heavy props + waling; slower set + strip than standard
- Reo: deeper cage with multiple bar layers; slower fix
- Place: pump-only feasible; tremie + vibrator at base
- Strip: 24-hour minimum per spec §6.5.1, 28-day OR 14-day-with-cylinder-test for prop removal per S000 concrete note 9
- **Productivity reduction: ~30% vs standard edge-beam baseline. Built into rate.**

## Existing-slab interface productivity flag

Tooth slab + tooth stair into existing slab/brick wall (Section 1 + 2 of S201) + drilled-and-epoxied dowels + locally removed existing wall to accommodate concrete riser are all interfaces with existing structure. Productivity reduced vs greenfield slab:
- Drill + epoxy dowels: ~3 min/dowel (drill 16mm × 150mm + dust extract + 2-part epoxy + insert + clean) × ~50 dowels = ~2.5 hrs incl. setup + curing wait time
- Toothing detail (S200 typ toothing detail): saw-cut + chip + clean existing slab face + waterproof bond agent + new pour. Slow productivity.
- Wall demolition coordination — NOT LFCS but LFCS has wait/standby time
- **Productivity reduction: ~15–20% vs greenfield first-pass. Built into rate.**

## Open RFIs (from take-off)

1. **Architectural setout drawings** — figured dimensions of function room footprint + pathway extent + seating terrace extent. Primary RFI; quantity confidence ±20–30% until received.
2. **Concrete grade for 125mm pathway slab** — drawings rev D S200 concrete quality table says 32 MPa; pavement spec Table 1 says 35 MPa compressive + 4.5 MPa flexural. Spec wins by precedence for pavement-classified element. RFI to designer to confirm intent.
3. **Pavement spec § 1 Introduction** — references "St Ives Showgrounds proposed carpark development" — template carry-over from another project. Confirm spec applies to Strathfield Parks Airey Park as intended.
4. **Piering** — S100 + S200 note "PIERING MAY BE REQUIRED. ENGINEER TO CONFIRM DURING CONSTRUCTION". If piering confirmed, scope expansion via variation. Provisional NIL in first-pass.
5. **Shelter shop drawings (post footings)** — S51 refers to shelter shop drawings for post footings — not in inbound set. Additional pad footings under shelter pavilion likely. Provisional NIL until received.
6. **Stormwater drainage drawings** — S200 refers to drainage drawings for pump well + sump locations. Sumps + waterstops NOT LFCS but trimmer bars + slab penetrations affect take-off. Provisional NIL.
7. **Geotech report S2348_GL_02_Rev0** — referenced but NOT in inbound set. Bearing capacity assumed 210 kPa stiff clay AS2870 H1. Geotech reading NOT required for take-off but flagged for completeness.
8. **Curing duration discrepancy** — exclusions skeleton A7 says 14-day cure; pavement spec §10.1.1 says minimum 7 days. Reduce A7 to 7-day cure in revised exclusions list. Cure cost reflects 7-day not 14.
9. **Number of openings + slab penetrations** — TR (2N12-1200 long trimmer bars) symbol on S200 indicates openings, but exact count + size depends on architectural penetration schedule. Provisional 6 openings.
10. **Cast-in services + conduits >25mm Ø** — S000 concrete note 7 requires spacing; per envelope item 22 cast-in items supplied by HC. RFI to confirm M+E + Hydraulics drawings supply count + locations.
