# Note Templates

Note-shaped (not folder-shaped) templates for LFCS day-to-day work. Adopted from Hasibul Khan's LFCS Obsidian Vault per the 2026-05-06 cross-Claude vault audit, adapted to Rocky's HQ-Vault conventions.

Folder-shaped templates (the canonical 11-section project structure) live alongside in `../job-folder-template/`.

## Files

| Template | Use when | Save to |
|---|---|---|
| [[Site-Diary-Entry]] | End of every site day | `Operations/Jobs/{Stage}/{Job}/07 - Site Documents/Site Diary/YYYY-MM-DD-Site-Diary.md` |
| [[Issue-Entry]] | Any site issue / delay / dispute that might become an RFI, Variation, or Defect | Job's `Issue-Log.md` (job folder root) — promote to formal register if escalated |
| [[Client-Note]] | One file per active LFCS client | `Operations/Clients/{Client}.md` |
| [[Quick-Capture]] | Voice / phone / WhatsApp / site capture | `00_Inbox/YYYY-MM-DD-{slug}.md` — curator processes at next session start |

## Conventions

- All templates use frontmatter for dataview-queryability
- Wikilinks point at Rocky's vault structure (not Hasibul's)
- Save-paths align with `lfcs-standards/folder-spec.md` for jobs and `Operations/Clients/` for client knowledge
- Replace `{{placeholder}}` syntax with actual values when filling

## Source

Originals from Hasibul's LFCS Obsidian Vault `06 - Templates/`. See [[_System/Audits/Friend-Vault-Audit-2026-05-06]] section 2 for the comparison and rationale.

## Append-only conventions

- Site Diary entries: append daily, never edit prior days
- Issue entries: append on creation, edit Resolution section when resolved (entry header + Description never edited)
- Client Note Payment History + Lessons sections: append-only
- Quick Capture: gets processed and superseded — original moves to `_Archive/inbox-processed/YYYY-MM/` with date prefix
