# Nightly Strategic Review
*Date: 2026-04-06*

## 1. PRODUCT BLIND SPOTS
- **Dispute Resolution is Unmanned**: We added "Report Issue" buttons, but Cog (operations agent) is offline to save API budget. If a contractor pays $50 and the worker no-shows on Day 1, there is no automated dispute handling. We are risking instant brand death if the first matches fail.
- **Vetting Gaps**: The voice profile and onboarding pack generate nicely, but checking White Card expiry and ABN validity is entirely manual/trust-based right now.

## 2. BUSINESS MODEL STRESS TEST
- **The LTV Problem**: The "$50 flat fee, unlimited duration" pitch is a great hook, but it caps our Lifetime Value (LTV) per match at $50. To build a sustainable business, we need massive, continuous top-of-funnel contractor demand. If they only hire once every 6 months, we starve.
- **Bypass**: We are literally selling the bypass ("hire them, keep them"). The weakest link is our ability to continuously attract new workers to sell to the same contractors.

## 3. COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE
- Traditional agencies (AWX, Labourpower) charge massive hourly margins. We are 90% cheaper.
- Tech players (Sidekicker, Hipages) either take 10-20% commission or charge per lead.
- No one else is doing a flat $50 "buy the lead, keep the worker" model in construction. If we can get volume, it's highly disruptive.

## 4. LAUNCH READINESS
- **Hard Blocker 1**: Susan's cold email execution is halted. She is stuck in an error loop (MEMORY.md truncation & orphaned user messages). The funnel is QA passed, but we have no top-of-funnel outbound.
- **Hard Blocker 2**: GWS (Google Workspace CLI) access is needed to bridge the local/VPS disconnect and unblock Susan's outreach.
- **Hard Blocker 3**: Day 1 support failure point. With Cog offline, we have no dispute resolution mechanism for failed matches.

## 5. OPPORTUNITIES
- **Weather-Triggered Outbound**: We noted that "Heavy rain days wash out sites, meaning contractors are stuck in offices." This is a huge timing opportunity. Susan should run aggressive cold email bursts on rainy days.
- **YOLO Mode Autonomy**: With Clawdbot v2026.4.2 (ask=off), we can execute faster, but we need tighter guardrails since Michael isn't reviewing every action.

## 6. OVERNIGHT WORK PLAN
- **Builder**: Priority 1 is fixing Susan's error loop (MEMORY.md truncation) so outbound can resume.
- **Builder**: Setup GWS CLI access to bridge the local/VPS gap.
- **Rivet**: Design a lightweight, zero-agent Day 1 support protocol (e.g., auto-routing "Report Issue" directly to Michael's phone via SMS for manual triage) since Cog is offline.
- **Rivet**: Build the protocol for "Rain Day Outbound" for Susan.
