# 2026-02-07 Daily Log

## Key Decision: White Card is NOT our responsibility
Michael confirmed: RateRight is a marketplace. Workers don't work for us. The contractor on the other side checks White Cards on their site. We do NOT need to verify or store White Cards. Any agent outputs referencing White Card verification are working from stale data.

This affects:
- Legal compliance research (section on White Cards — skip)
- Launch content FAQs (remove White Card upload references)
- First 100 workers strategy (remove White Card verification as a feature)
- Any UI that asks workers to upload White Cards

## Evening Session (21:00-21:35)
- 10 agent research tasks completed (investor pitch, legal, first 100 workers, launch content, gap analysis, analytics, market data, agent map, partnerships, SEO)
- Analyzed all 10 outputs with Michael — identified winners and fluff
- Curated TODO.md from 10 outputs — cut partnerships fluff, kept legal blockers and growth tactics
- Gap analysis was most useful: caught sales promising features that don't exist
- Michael confirmed SMS scripts were already fixed (18 rewrites earlier today) — gap analysis was stale
- Cross-agent connections discussion: keep it simple, Rivet is the hub, don't add complexity until it breaks
- C6 DELETE policies migration complete — last audit code item done
- Spawned Terms of Service agent
- Michael: "Make sure documentation is in the right place and Markus's stuff is separate"
- **Markus let go from RateRight** — Michael is now sole human on the team. Rivet's role as COO system becomes even more critical.
  - Reason: 6 months no customers, pivot to new strategy, Markus only knew Python (stack is now Next.js/TS), costing €2,000/month
  - Michael paid 2 weeks severance despite contractor status
  - **Runway changed from 3.5 MONTHS to 3 YEARS** — burn rate dropped from ~$7K/mo to ~$680/mo
  - Dev work now handled entirely by Claude Code (free on Max plan)

## Overnight (03:00)
- Nightly routine completed: 38 fresh contractor leads captured from job boards
- Market hot: 44 steel fixer listings, 84 formwork listings, 298 formwork carpenter listings on Jora alone
- Steel fabrication crisis (ABC Feb 5) — but on-site steel fixing demand remains strong
- Workmate appears dormant in construction space — competitor gap identified
- RBA hiked rates Feb 2026 — no cuts coming, but infrastructure pipeline massive ($30B Northern AU, $73.3B data centres)
