## Decision
Parked — Rocky wants to fork under Apache 2.0 and self-host on VPS. Code audit required before committing. Foundation work (digest, daemon, Airtable) should complete first.

## Update — Installed 2026-05-12
Rocky asked to set it up while at work. Done:

- **Downloaded** v1.9.25 (`AionUi-1.9.25-win-x64.exe`, 180MB) to VPS
- **Pushed** to laptop at `C:\Users\mclou\Downloads\`
- **Installed silently** via `cmd /c start /wait AionUi-1.9.25-win-x64.exe /S`
- **Installed path:** `C:\Users\mclou\AppData\Local\Programs\AionUi\AionUi.exe`
- **Running:** PID 55528 confirmed

## Setup plan (pending Rocky getting home)
1. **WebUI + Tailscale** — enable WebUI mode, access from phone via `https://100.108.207.15:{port}` — Tailscale already running on laptop
2. **ACP integration** — connect Hermes Agent to Aion UI dashboard (wiki: ACP-Setup)
3. **Telegram bridge** — defer, WhatsApp already bridged

## Known issues / notes
- Multi-agent auto-detection will pick up all Hermes instances — configure deliberately, not defaults
- Don't set up additional LLM providers — Hermes/MiniMax already connected

## Setup options
1. **Laptop only** — runs locally, one-user, contained
2. **VPS server** — access from anywhere via browser/Telegram
